Mack C. Miller

ELLENBURG DEPOT — Mack C. Miller, 78, of Ellenburg Depot passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born Nov. 11, 1935, in Ellenburg, the son of Charles and Vivian (Lancto) Miller.

Mack was a 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus. He was known as "Mighty Mack" during his 28 year stock car racing career. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing BINGO. He owned and operated Miller's Auto Parts.

He is predeceased by his parents; one son, Scott Miller; and one brother- in-law, Ronnie Miller.

Survivors include, his wife, Barbara Miller of Ellenburg Depot; one son, Ricky Miller of Ellenburg Depot; one daughter, Nancy Peryea and her husband Michael of Ellenburg Depot; four grandchildren, Jared, Barbie, Katie and Scottie; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Brianna; and his best friend, Roland Trombley, whom his family would like to extend a special thank you to for all the help and care he gave to Mackie. Also, his little dog, Tickey, who was always at his side.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Ross Funeral Home in Ellenburg Depot. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 Friday, March 21, at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg.
