FELONY ARRESTS

SARANAC LAKE — A Lake Placid man was charged recently with grand larceny.

Vadim Cretu, 25, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony; third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation, Saranac Lake Village Police said in a news release.

He was arraigned in Harrietstown Town Court and released into the supervision of probation after an order or protection was issued, police said in the release.

SARANAC LAKE — A Massena woman was charged within the last week with attempted assault.

Jessica L. Boice, 25, was charged with second-degree attempted assault, a felony; second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a violation, Saranac Lake Village Police said in a news release.

Boice was arraigned in Harrietstown Town Court and was sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond, police said.

SARANAC LAKE — A Norfolk, N.Y. woman was charged with attempted assault recently.

Janelle E. Mossow, 26, was charged with second-degree attempted assault, a felony; second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a violation, Saranac Lake Village Police said in a news release.

She was arraigned in Harrietstown Town Court and was sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond, police said.

PLATTSBURGH — An Altona man was charged with two felonies Jan. 1. 

Christiansen T. Page, 20, allegedly drove to the residence of a family member and struck the first victim on the left side of his face, according to State Police. 

Page allegedly made a second effort to fight with the first victim about two hours later. The second victim, a family member, confronted the two vehicles that drove up and was subsequently struck in the head multiple times with a chair dowel with nails, police said.
