MALONE — A man was arrested April 27 on charges that included aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.

Kevin Peryea, 23, of Constable was arrested at approximately 8:10 p.m. on County Route 51 in the Town of Malone.

Peryea was charged with aggravated DWI with a child (first violation), a felony, and first-degree operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor.

He was also cited for three infractions: equipment violation (obstructed vision); equipment violation (exhaust system) and having a backseat passenger younger than four years old.

No further information was available.

ELIZABETHTOWN — A Moriah man allegedly broke into a residence and stole an all-terrain vehicle April 8.

Dustin C. McCoy, 17, illegally entered a residence on Lincoln Pond Road in the Town of Elizabethtown and stole the vehicle, Lewis-based State Police said.

McCoy was arrested on the afternoon of April 9 at 3197 Plank Rd. in the Town of Moriah, according to a State Police blotter entry.

He was arraigned in Elizabethtown Court, police said.

He was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny, both felonies.

WILLSBORO — A Willsboro man was injured in a one-car accident April 25.

At about 6:10 p.m., Gary S. Stoker, 47, was driving northbound on State Route 22 in the Town of Willsboro when he had a medical emergency and his car left the roadway via the east shoulder, Lewis-based State Police said.

No further information was available.

WILLSBORO — Two people were injured in a one-car accident April 17.

Shortly before 2:03 p.m., Darwin F. Clark of Willsboro, whose age was not available, was towing a trailer that began to fishtail as he drove over the crest of a hill, Lewis-based State Police said.

Clark lost control, left the west side of the roadway, struck an earth embankment and overturned onto the passenger’s side, police said.

The name of the other injured party was not available.

Both people were taken to Elizabethtown Community Hospital for treatment, police said.
