AuSable standout makes ESG

— CLINTONVILLE -- Alexandra Hoey, an all-star libero for the AuSable Valley Patriots, has made the Adirondack Region Scholastic Division volleyball team for the Empire State Games. Tryouts were a month-long process involving sessions at Ballston Spa and Glens Falls.
The Empire State Games will be held July 24-26 in Binghamton, but volleyball will be played at SUNY Cortland. Tryouts for this team have been a month long process in Ballston Spa and Glens Falls.
Hoey, who will be a junior at AuSable Valley in the fall, also is a member of the North Country Albany Junior 17s National Team that is competing in the national tournament in Dallas.
