High Peaks Hospice to relocate
SARANAC LAKE — High Peaks Hospice and Palliative Care will be relocating to its previous location in the Physicians and Surgeons Building behind Adirondack Medical Center in the near future.
The building that currently houses the office at 19 Church St. has been listed for sale with Say Real Estate.
“It has been a wonderful location for our visibility in the community and we have found that more people stop in to talk with us,” Margaret Brown, a registered nurse and Hospice care coordinator, said in a news release. “Our office has been at the Church Street location for almost two years and it is a lovely setting but we have found that it is not practical for the purpose of operating a clinical office. Our current office has no rooms where we can meet privately with patient families, bereavement groups or for other meetings that require privacy.
