Yeager beats 'em all -- including the boys

WILLSBORO — Gabi Yeager out-bowled everyone, including the boys, Monday in leading the Willsboro girls to a 4-0 victory over Plattsburgh High School in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference competition at Willsboro Lanes.

Yeager put together games of 197, 203 and 170 for a 570 series. Her 203 game was also the high single for the girls.

Alyson Arnold chipped in with a 171-482 while Emily Mero tossed a 440.

Brooke Marbut led the PHS girls with a 399 series.

The Plattsburgh High boys won 8-2 with Josh Shaffer posting the high series of 539 on games of 152, 180 and 207. Henry Hill tossed a 190 game while Hunter Marbut rolled a 185.

Connor Sheehan had the high single, 209, on his way to a 504 series for the Willsboro boys.
