He was born in Plattsburgh, August 31, 1931, one of many children born to Edward and Anna (Longton) Gebo.

Dad's journey has come to an end. He never cared for the obits saying, "no one cares what you did 50 years ago". "It is family and friends that make a life worth while."

Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly Gebo whom he married 53 years ago on Christmas Eve; children, Donna and Jimmy, Randy, Tami and Mike, Bobby and Karla, Tricia and Karen, Mike and Laura, and Tammy and Vance; more than a handful of grandchildren; siblings, Lee, Gerry and Velma; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; and siblings, Bea, Irene, Rhea, Leona, Ed, Bob and Hector.

At Philip's request there will no public calling hours or services, no "fuss". He would like everyone to remember in the end it is family and friends that make the best memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Plattsburgh VA Clinic, 80 Sharron Ave, Plattsburgh, N.Y. 12901.

Dad, you are loved by many and will be missed by all.
