CCC to welcome storyteller on Wednesday

PLATTSBURGH — Storyteller Michael Parent will perform from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, in the theater of the Stafford Center for the Arts, Science and Technology on Clinton Community College Campus.

The free performance is open to the public.

An earlier release from the college had set the time for 1 to 2 p.m.

Malone studentsseek supporters for contest entry

MALONE — Malone Middle School students have entered a contest to win $10,000 to buy new computer equipment, and they need the public’s help.

Supporters are asked to visit http://woobox.com//igz2wh/vote/for//2431061 and vote for the History Department’s video showing students explaining ways they used critical thinking in the classroom.

The contest is sponsored by Mentoring Minds, an educational-support company.
