Franklin County Court cases processed

MALONE — A number of felony cases were handled in Franklin County Court before Judge Robert G. Main Jr.

Michael Fefee, 31, of Brushton pleaded not guilty to felony driving while intoxicated, failure to yield the right of way in a crosswalk and failure to keep right, stemming from an incident Oct. 23, 2012.

A conference was set for Feb. 28, and he was released under the supervision of the Probation Department.

Marianne Frazier, 33, of Brushton was sentenced to three years each for third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident June 7, 2012.

The prison terms are to run concurrent, and she is to serve three years of post-release supervision and pay a $1,000 fine.

Michael J. Lewis, 36, of Burke was sentenced to two years in state prison and three years of post-release supervision for second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident March 26, 2012.

He was also ordered to pay $100 in restitution and a $2,500 fine.

Bennie Pittman III, 38, of Malone was sentenced to five years probation, with the first six months in County Jail, for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, stemming from an incident Feb. 13, 2012.

He was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $90 in restitution.

Chris Price, 26, an inmate at Upstate Correctional Facility in Malone, was sentenced to one and a half to three years in state prison consecutive to his present term for first-degree attempted promotion of prison contraband, stemming from an incident Sept. 1, 2011, at Upstate Correctional Facility.
