Robert Keith "Bob" Stein

KEESEVILLE — Robert Keith "Bob" Stein, 55, of School Street, Keeseville, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Plattsburgh, Aug. 9, 1957, the son of Bartlett and Betty Mae (Coon) Stein.

Bob loved old cars, especially Packards. He used to spend time with his dad in the garage working on cars and was always happy to lend a hand. He also enjoyed searching for old bottles, and listening to country music. Artists he was fond of included Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and Roy Acuff.

Survivors include his loving parents; brothers, Keith and Robert; uncles, Sam Coon and his wife Maude, and Robin Stein; and several cousins.

Calling hours will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Schuyler Falls Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
