CYH hosts monthly meeting

CHAZY — Chazy Youth Hockey will host its monthly meeting at Scotts’ Memorial Rink Thursday.

A coaches-only meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., while an additional meeting will be open to the general public at 7:15 p.m.

A-C North Sports Center announces schedule

PLATTSBURGH — The Ameri-Can North Sports Center has announced its stick-n-puck and public skating schedule for the week.

Public skating is slated for Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., while stick-n-puck is set for Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saint Michael’s College women’s volleyball falls to Stonehill

BURLINGTON, Vt. — The Saint Michael’s College women’s volleyball team went 0-1 last week, falling to Stonehill College Friday, 3-0.

Hillary Miller, a former Plattsburgh High standout, tied for a match-high best 12 digs.

Algonquin Chapter hosts walk in Rugar’s Woods

PLATTSBURGH — On Saturday, the public is invited to join the Algonquin Chapter of the ADK for a walk in Rugar’s Woods followed by a visit to the Champlain Valley Quilters’ Guild Show at the Plattsburgh State Field House.

The theme of this biannual show is “Piecing the Adirondack Coast” and features quilt “aisles” named for the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks. There is a fee for the show.

CCYB cancels Fall Fun Run

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Youth Bureau canceled its Fall Fun Run Monday.

The race will be held tonight at Cumberland Bay State Park for 5 p.m. Anyone who has run this fall will receive a certificate. New runners are welcome.
