CROWN POINT -- Jonalee Ross and Chelsea DuShane combined on a no-hitter Monday as Crown Point defeated Westport 12-1 in Mountain & Valley Athletic Conference softball.
Ross, who pitched a no-hitter against Schroon Lake on opening day, struck out seven batters over five innings before giving way to DuShane, who struck out all six batters she faced.
Trish Lacey singled and scored three runs for the Panthers (8-4, 6-1), while Paige Dolback added a two-run single.
Kalika Hopkins drove in the Eagles lone run.

CHAZY -- Elizabethtown-Lewis scored a combined 10 runs in the final two innings, and the Lions went on for a 12-6 win over Chazy in Mountain & Valley Athletic Conference softball action.
Riley Diemand was the winning pitcher and helped her cause at the plate with three hits, including a double.
Stephanie Hosler played a strong game defensively for the Eagles at second base.

SCHROON LAKE -- Brooke Hartson and Alicia Ash had three hits each to lead the Beavers past the Wildcats.
Carrie Shackett pitched a complete game allowing just two hits and striking out six for Keene.
Savannah Clark hit a solo home run for Schroon Lake.
Nycole Giffors had two RBI and Michelle Sardella had 4 RBI for the Beavers.
Ashley Whitty absorbed the loss for the Wildcats.

NORTH CREEK -- Andrew Sherrick had a three-run double in a seven-run fifth inning as Johnsburg defeated Wells, 19-4, in MVAC southern division action.
Coldy Wolfe and John Thissel added two hits each for the Jaguars (3-1, 3-4. Josh Harvey struck out 10 to earn the win.
Erci Williamson had two hits for the Indians (0-3, 0-4).
