CHAZY — The Town of Chazy began emptying its water tank on Wednesday and is continuing the job today so that maintenance can be performed.
Residents in the Chazy Water District may see discoloration of their water during this time.

PSU to live-stream commencements
PLATTSBURGH— Those who can’t attend SUNY Plattsburgh’s spring commencement ceremonies can now view them live via the Internet.
Both the 9 a.m. ceremony for graduates in the School of Business and Economics and the Division of Education, Health and Human Services and the 2 p.m. ceremony for those in the Division of Arts and Science will be streamed at http://tinyurl.com/awz7rp8.
The live broadcast through Northeast Sports Network will be especially welcome to the families of international students, as they often can’t afford the trip to Plattsburgh, according to Jackie Vogl, assistant vice president for global education.
“Often, these families have invested a great deal of time, support and effort into the success of their students, yet they have no way of joining the celebration.
“This service will provide that to them.”
Both ceremonies will take place at the Plattsburgh State Field House.

North Country Chamber event location moved
PLATTSBURGH — Due to unforeseen circumstances, the location for the North Country Chamber of Commerce After Hours event today has been moved to the Naked Turtle on Dock Street, Plattsburgh.

Portion of Guideboard Road closed for major
BLACK BROOK — A major drainage issue has shut down the Guideboard Road in the Town of Black Brook starting at 300 feet south of Swastika Road until further notice.
Clinton County Highway Superintendent Al Rascoe is advising area residents that due to the discovery of a major drainage structure failure the road had to be closed immediately. He advises motorists to plan ahead for alternate routes,
