PLATTSBURGH — Brian A. Provost, 54, of Underwood Avenue, died peacefully Monday, April 15, 2013, at Albany Medical Center, with his loving wife Patty by his side.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 23, 1958, the son of Alfred and Joan (Farrell) Provost. He graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1977 and worked for various companies as a Master Electrician.
Brian married the former Patricia Rabideau on Nov. 7, 2012, in Plattsburgh. He liked to ride his four-wheeler with his stepdaughter, Natalie. He was as a free spirit who loved his pets and people, and he will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Brian is survived by his wife, Patricia Provost of Plattsburgh; three daughters, Kelly, Beth, and Camellia; four stepdaughters, Natalie, Billie, Valerie, and Felicia; his father, Alfred Provost of Plattsburgh; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Crystal Provost of Plattsburgh; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pamela and Dale Baker of Plattsburgh and Sherry Provost of Plattsburgh; four grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Preston, and Josalin; three nieces, three nephews, five great-nieces and three great-nephews.
Brian was predeceased by his mother; his dog, Destin; grandfather, Hank Farrell; one aunt, "Gen"; one uncle, "Ed"; and two brothers-in-law, Brian and Billy Rabideau.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William Reamer conducting the services.
