IRENE BROWN, 87, of Bushey Blvd. and formally of Champlain Street, Plattsburgh, died on Monday, July 29, 2013, at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on Feb. 16, 1926, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Fisher) Bouyea. At Irene's request, there will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh.
