To the people who keep writing in complaining about second-hand smoke. Don’t let me catch you warming up your car this winter. It’s your second-hand smoke that has actually been proven to kill.
CVPH’s Girls Night Out was absolutely fantastic this year. Thanks to all who put in the hard work to bring this show together. Next year they should watch the doors and not let people come in from side entrances butting ahead of people in line.
On the night of Oct. 14 some thief stole Halloween decorations from the front yard of my Smith Street home. Thanks for stealing things that I don’t have the funds to replace. You spoil the fun for everyone.
Take the dog or cat from your lap, put away the makeup, newspaper, map, cellphone, cigarettes, drinks, CDs — now maybe you’re ready to drive. Focus and consider that every other vehicle has a living person at the wheel.
I walk the bike path on the Old Base several times a week and am amazed at the number of dogs that owners let loose. They have jumped up on me several times, and owners think it is cute. Take responsibility to control your dog. This is not a dog playground.
After attending the information meeting on dissolution in Keeseville I asked the consultant if any of the villages that he worked with who voted to dissolve later reversed themselves. He said no. There will be issues, I am sure, but I vote for dissolution.
Again what a glorious sight to see the beautiful lights of Christmas to celebrate the birthday of Jesus. It is such a bright season to experience peace among ourselves.
