PLATTSBURGH — The Great Adirondack Soup Company has relaunched a dinner menu, this time coupled with a beer and wine license.
Owners Chris and Laura Dominianni said dinner is available from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The evening atmosphere is quiet and casual, with ambient lighting and soft music.
“It’s very peaceful here at night,” Laura said.
The Dominiannis started the service last year, with a different menu every week. Several of the diners suggested it would be a lot better if they also offered beer and wine.
The restaurant now has a base menu of the previously popular entrees, augmented by specials that will change periodically.
“I’ve always wanted to expand on our soup and sandwich menu,” Chris said.
Local ingredients are used when possible, such as beef from Kilcoyne Farms in Brasher Falls.
Laura said steak frites and roasted garlic chicken penne are two of the more popular entrees.
All entrees include house salad, warm artisan bread and vegetable crudite.
There is one soup du jour and a North Country pho, a fragrant broth with rice noodles, scallions, bean sprouts, seasoned vegetables, fresh cilantro, lime and roasted peanuts, with choice of chicken, pork or tofu.
“They have pho restaurants up in Montreal. We decided to bring it to Plattsburgh,” Laura said.
The menu includes sandwiches, both a few of their classic lunch sandwiches and some new creations.
There are also dinner-sized salads and desserts.
The beer selection presently includes Stella Artois, Sierra Nevada, Shcoktop, Bass, Michelob Ultra and Magic Hat. Wines include chardonnay, pinot grigio, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, prosecco and chianti.
They also plan to offer wines from Champlain Wine Company in Plattsburgh, owned by Colin Read and Natalie Peck.
Diners can also bring their own wine, for a small corking fee. That fee is waived if the wine was purchased at the Champlain Wine Company, Laura said.
