LEVESQUE - A Mass of Christian burial was concelebrated Wednesday, July 17, 2013, from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, N.Y. for Elzear H. Levesque, 86, of Wallace Hill Road, Plattsburgh, who died Friday, July 12, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his family by his side. Rev. Bernie Menard, Pastor of St. Peter's Church celebrated the Mass assisted by Veronica Matott. Rev. William G. Reamer, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church and Chaplain of CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh concelebrated the Mass. Soloist and guitarist was Perry Provost. Cantor was Jason Levesque. Roger Levesque, Diane Levesque, Daniel Levesque, Susan Wodge, Clare LaPier and Rosanna LaPier placed the pall. Renee Levesque placed the crucifix. Caresa LaPier placed the rosary. Camille LaPier placed the picture of St. Jude. Roger Levesque gave remarks of remembrance of Elzear's life. Richard Dodge and Roger Levesque read from scripture. Jason Levesque and Amanda Levesque presented the gifts. Pallbearers were Roger Levesque, Daniel Levesque, Albert Sorrell, Richard Dodge and David LaPier. U.S. Army presented full military honors. Burial followed in St. Peter's Cemetery, where Rev. Bernie Menard read committal prayers. Arrangements were entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 (518) 561-3980.
