Norma Michielutti Corrado

IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO — Norma Michielutti Corrado, 98, died Oct. 21, 2013 at Bonaventure Assisted Living in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice and her loving daughters.

Norma was born on July 10, 1915, to Tomaso Michielutti and Domenica Francescon Michielutti in Cavasso Nuovo, Italy. After immigrating from Italy, Norma lived in Boston, Mass. for two years, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. for 30 years, Keene, N.Y. for 30 years. She spent the last eight years in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

On March 20, 1938, she married John B. Corrado in Boston, Mass. From this union they were blessed with three daughters. John passed away on Jan. 2, 1995.

She was a member of Blessed John Paul II Catholic Community. Norma was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, hiking and cooking.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Diana (Stephen) Cary of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Alba Corrado of Cranston, R.I., Dina Corrado Odak, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at St. Brendan's Church, 17 Church St., Keene, N.Y. Burial to follow at Norton Cemetery in Keene. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
