CADYVILLE -- Michael Champagne and Matt Medeiros each ran a 17:29 in the 5K Wednesday to tie for first place overall in the weekly Heart Smart Runs at the Cadyville Recreation Park.

Eleven-year-old Kallie Villemaire won the 1-mile race in 7:19, six-year-old John Vogl the half mile in 4:07 and three-year-old Jack Reidy the quarter mile in 3:07.

There were 82 runners competing in the four divisions.
