JERICHO/CHURUBUSCO — With many blessings Leonard and Serina Charland of Jericho & Walter and Tracey Wilson of Churubusco would like to announce the marriage of their children.
Brittney Victoria Charland and Travis James Wilson were married on July 20, 2013, at the West Side Ballroom in Plattsburgh by Jeff Matthews. The ceremony was followed by a reception with music provided by C.R. Tunes.
Kirstie Bouvia of Ellenburg was maid of honor. Best man was Walter Wilson of Clear Lake, Wis., brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Alysha Ero of Altona, Kira Woods of Keeseville, Courtney Shutts of Morrisonville, cousin of the bride, Sara Jubert of Tyndall, Fla., Kassie Poust of Dannemora, and Jaqueline Harding of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Monica-Lynn and Sophia Charland, sisters of the bride. Flower girls were Emily Alden of Highlands Ranch, Colo., cousin of the groom and Halle Shutts of Morrisonville, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Richie Fulmer of Brownsmills, N.J, Shane Trudeau of Churubusco, cousin of the bride, Jacob and Derek Ribot of Burke, cousins of the groom, Keith Rodriguez of Ellenburg Center, Devyn Russell of West Chazy, Cody Poliseno of Dover, Del. Junior ushers were Dylan and Keegan Reyell of Altona.
Readings were done by Jason Hebert, cousin of the bride and Pamela Aschettino, grandmother of the groom. Blessing was said by Edna Trudeau, great-grandmother of the bride.
Brittney Wilson graduated from Northern Adirondack in 2011. She is currently finishing her degree in Human Services with early childhood development. She will graduate in December.
Travis Wilson also graduated from Northern Adirondack in 2011. He finished two years at CCC. He is currently in active duty for the United States Army.
They enjoyed a cruise to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas. The Wilson's will reside in Churubusco until they are assigned a Military Base.
