SCHENECTADY — Jay Hebert of the Ticonderoga track and field team won the 110-meter hurdles Saturday at the Eddy Meet. He crossed the finish line in 14.33 seconds in the finals after running a 15.84 in the preliminaries.

Halie Snyder of EKMW made the podium in the girls’ long jump, turning in a leap of 15 feet, 5½ inches to place sixth.
Saranac’s Connor Christopherson lowered two school records at the meet. He ran a 15.31 (FAT) in the 110 hurdles, breaking his own record and finishing sixth. Christopherson teamed with Ty Tedford, Sobaan Ayub and Dustin Durgan to place third in the 1,600 relay in 3:26.69. The previous school record was 3:28.14.
Christopherson also made the podium in the 400 hurdles, taking sixth in 57.92. Tedford was fourth in the 400 with a time of 50.59.
Jeremy Bullis finished fifth in the discus with a throw of 147-10, and he took seventh in the shot put with 44-3¾.
The Seton Catholic girls had a strong showing in the distance races. Melissa Whyman placed fourth in the 1,500 with a time of 4:52.40, and Margaret Champagne clocked 10:37.36 to take fifth in the 3,000.
