TICONDEROGA — A man was arrested Nov. 13 on a probation violation warrant.
Ticonderoga Police officers arrested Edward A. Fuller, 42, on a bench warrant issued by the Essex County Court for violating the terms of his probation for a felony conviction, according to the Ticonderoga Police Department.
Fuller’s town of residence was unknown Saturday.
Fuller is on probation for second-degree burglary, a felony, according to the New York State Division of Parole’s online database.
Police turned Fuller over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for transport to the Essex County Court for arraignment and he was released on his own recognizance to appear in court at a later date, police said.
No further information was available.
MOIRA — A Moira man was charged Nov. 9 with criminal mischief.
During an argument with another person on the side of McCauslin Road near O’Connell Road in the Town of Moira, Mark A. Muller, 43, kicked and punched the other person’s truck and attached trailer, causing about $500 in damage, Malone-based State Police said.
Muller was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Moira Town Court Monday.
WESTVILLE — A Westville woman was charged Nov. 7 with four felonies including welfare fraud and grand larceny.
A fraud investigation was conducted at the request of the Franklin County Department of Social Services into possible criminal activity perpetrated by Crystal I. Young, 33.
State Police obtained an arrest warrant from Malone Town Court and arrested Young, charging her with four felonies.
They are fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps valued at more than $1,000, according to a State Police blotter entry.
Young was arraigned in Malone Town Court and released into the supervision of the Franklin County Probation Department.
