Dental association

LAKE PLACID — Drs. William Caldon, Michael O’Connor and Donnon O’Neill of High Peaks Dental have formed a new association with Dr. Andrea M. Beanan, D.D.S.

Beanan is originally from Tonawanda. In 2007, she graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Cell Biology with a minor in Psychology. She then moved to Buffalo and entered the State University of New York at Buffalo where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

In 2011, Beanan moved to Indianapolis, Ind., where she completed a General Practice Residency program through Indiana University School of Dental Medicine. August of 2012 brought her to Lake Placid where she began her association with High Peaks Dental.

“Dr. Beanan brings a new level of dental skills to High Peaks Dental’s Lake Placid office,” O’Neill said. “She is dedicated to oral health and establishing patient oral healthcare goals.”

Appreciation Day

TICONDEROGA — The Ticonderoga and Ticonderoga Drive-In offices of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. will jointly host a Community Appreciation Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

The event will take place at the 123 Montcalm St. location. Coffee and donuts will be available in the morning; chili with rolls and crackers will be offered later in the day.

The community is encouraged to bring new or gently used coats, hats and mittens to the event, which will be collected to benefit local children in need of warm clothing this winter.

The bank is working in conjunction with Winter Warmth for Kids to gather and distribute warm items to families in the Ticonderoga area.

The Ticonderoga offices are among many Glens Falls National locations hosting Community Appreciation Days this year. The events are meant to show the bank’s appreciation for its neighbors while assisting local causes.
