---- — MORRISONVILLE — The Clinton County Fair wraps up today with its usual big bang, with two Demolition Derby shows.
Front-gate admission for ages 13 and older is $8 today; free for anyone younger.
Grandstand admission is $6 for each Demolition Derby show, set for 1 and 7 p.m. Buy a $10 Pit Pass, available at 1 p.m., for admission to both shows.
Today’s your last chance to visit the 4-H and FFA, cattle, horse and domestic and fine-arts exhibits; vendor buildings are open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Parking is free.
Here’s the schedule:
8 a.m.: Walk Trot Show in the PrimeLink Horse Arena.
11 a.m.: Mark Tyoe, Master of the Chainsaw Sculptor, sponsored by Tammy Perrotte Sears of RE/MAX North Country.
11 a.m. and 6 p.m.: Master hypnotist Michael Blaine, sponsored by North Country Auto Glass & Trim Shop, Adirondack Energy, Adirondack Waste Solutions and 102.3 MIX FM at the Sample Lumber Co. LLC Stage.
Noon: Gymkhana Horse Show in the PrimeLink Horse Arena; carnival rides open and 4-H Dairy Bar opens.
Noon, 3 and 5 p.m.: Animal Alley Productions, sponsored by Palmer Veterinary Clinic.
Noon, 4 and 6 p.m.: Buffalo Barfield’s Unherd-of-Entertainment (family show), sponsored by National Bath Systems LLC.
1 p.m.: Serge & the Lonestar Band in the Stewart’s Shop Gazebo; and Demolition Derby Part I, sponsored by Budweiser, 97.5 Eagle Country Radio, Riley Ford, Della Mitsubishi & Griffith Energy in front of the Casella Waste Management Stage at the Plattsburgh Live Grandstand.
2, 4 and 7 p.m.: Pipsqueaks Party Time Clown Show, sponsored by Price Chopper on the Children’s Stage.
4 p.m.: Auction of all wood carvings made by Mark Tyoe during the week, at the Sample Lumber Co., LLC Stage.
6 p.m.: Coin Hunt in the Sawdust Pile, sponsored by UFirst Federal Credit Union, GP Community Federal Credit Union, Dannemora Federal Credit Union, TD Bank and Peru Federal Credit Union.
