MALONE — Two people were injured in a two-car accident Wednesday.
Shortly before 11:38 a.m., Tamara R. Burgoyne, 23, of Churubusco was traveling west on U.S. Route 11 in the Town of Burke when she attempted to make a left turn onto Montgomery Road, Malone-based State Police said.
Tammy M. Farrell, 42, of Churubusco was driving west on U.S. Route 11 behind Burgoyne when she tried to pass Burgoyne’s car on the left side of Burgoyne’s vehicle while Burgoyne was turning, police said.
Farrell’s car removed the front bumper of Burgoyne’s vehicle and hit the side of the car, police said.
Farrell had three children in her vehicle, police said, but they were uninjured.
Burgoyne and Farrell were taken to CVPH Medical Center where they were treated and released.
Farrell was ticketed for unsafe passing.
AuSABLE — Three people were injured in a two-car accident Jan. 15.
Shortly before 3:26 p.m., Wayne E. Buckley, 55, of Keeseville was driving northbound on State Route 9 near its intersection with Front Street in the Town of AuSable. He attempted to turn into McLean’s Family Restaurant and his vehicle was allegedly struck by a car driven by Jerald E. Goucher, 64, of Keeseville, according to Plattsburgh-based State Police.
Goucher was traveling southbound on State Route 9 at the time of the accident and did not see Buckley’s vehicle because of a glare, police said.
The names of those injured and their conditions were not available. Ticket information was also not available.
