Meeting to feature train station update
ROUSES POINT — The Village of Rouses Point will hold a public-information session on the Delaware and Hudson Railway Station restoration project at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Rouses Point Civic Center meeting room.

The Project Advisory Committee, made up of representatives from the village and the Rouses Point/Champlain Historical Society, will give an update on the project, including progress to date and the time line for design and construction.

The committee is currently gathering information and photos on the building's history and hopes that community members will share their photos of the interior or exterior to help guide the project designers in the restoration, a press release said. Photos can be scanned then returned to their owners.

Beekmantown School Board meets Tuesday
BEEKMANTOWN — The Board of Education of the Beekmantown Central School District will meet at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the MS/HS Library.

Agenda items include: appointments, tenure and attendance zones policy. A complete agenda is available on the district Web site at www.bcsdk12.org.

The public is encouraged to attend.

Chazy School Board agenda planned
CHAZY — The Chazy Central Rural School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Topics of discussion will be volunteers, board policies, computers and weight room. The public may attend.

NACS Board of Education to meet
ELLENBURG — The Northern Adirondack Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the Elementary School cafeteria.

The meeting will begin with an executive session to discuss the employment history of particular individuals followed by the regular meeting which will include a detailed presentation by Lisa Carter, school lunch manager. A bullying policy will be presented to the Board of Education for a first reading. The meeting is open to the public.
