Hero
In the future, would the Press please put the hero on the front page in bold headlines (the guy that jumped into icy cold water to save a mother and her two daughters in their sinking car)? You could put the Adirondack Council on B6 instead of the hero. Heroes don't pander to the APA. Heroes don't hammer those using renewable wood fuel to heat their homes. No one elected the Adirondack Council. We don't care what they think.

Sewage
To the elitist who is living on Cumberland Head, why should we have to process your sewage in Plattsburgh? What was wrong with your system in the head, huh? It couldn't handle all your crepes and caviare? The Plattsburgh facility is already overworked, you can smell it everywhere. When the system fails, will you send out your pool boys with the skimmers to clean the doodies out of the lake?

Garbage
Attention Harpp Street neighbors, after garbage pick up please put your garbage barrels up where the wind can't blow them all over Harpp Street. Yes, you are good about making our kid pick them up (hours later) but usually there are pieces of garbage from your trash bins that continue to blow all over in your neighbors yards and stays there until we pick it up. It is not our responsibility and honestly we are sick of picking up your trash.

Sick days
How many employers and businesses hold the use of sick days against an employee? How can someone stay home if they are sick or have the flu when their job is on the line? Wake up employers, having sick employees is bad for business and the community. If the CDC says to stay home if you have the flu, that should be good enough for employers. If you work for an employer who doesn't follow this, find a new employer, or at least hope they get what you have only worse.

JV
My issue is with parents that choose to allow their daughter to play JV soccer as an underclassman and still try out for JV volleyball. You want your child to have choices and opportunities? Well you took that away from a junior-high athlete that didn't have the opportunity to play soccer this year and possibly another for volleyball. Your decisions not only affect you, but others. Come on ... teach yourself and your child some respect for others! Hopefully the volleyball coaches will be more considerate and make the choice for you! Parents ... be considerate not conceited!

Cats
City council, please make people keep their cats in their own yards. We have to leash our dogs so they don't destroy others' property. My property is being ruined by cats who think it is their personal toilet spot. Keep your smelly, wandering cats home! I will no longer try to keep my dog from your cats when your cat is in my yard. Trespassing cats and your ignorant owners beware.
