Geoffrey S. Carpenter of Plattsburgh has graduated from Paul Smiths College with a degree in urban tree management. Carpenter was named to the dean's list fall and spring semesters.
Madeline Ware, daughter of Bruce and Carolyn Ware of Westport, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology/archaeology and classical studies from Hamilton College in Clinton.
The Auxiliary of CVPH Medical Center has awarded 9, $1,000 scholarships to graduates of Clinton County High Schools. The awards were announced at the school's graduation ceremonies. Auxiliary scholarship winners are attending college in pursuit of a health-care-related degree. Scholarships were awarded to Bethany Trombley, Beekmantown Central School; Annette Liem, Plattsburgh High School; Kara Hackett, Peru Central School; Kelsey Tourville, Northern Adirondack Central School; Lindsey Seymour, Chazy Central School; Brenton Murphy, AuSable Valley Central School; Hannah Charland, Saranac Central School; Jennifer Bechard, Northeastern Clinton Central School; and Jordan Hart, Seton Catholic Central.
Kelsey Deso, daughter of Donald Deso of Champlain and Dora Robert of Corral Springs, Fla., is a junior at Oswego School of Business, majoring in CPA - French. She made high honors with a GPA of 3.86 out of 4.0 and was named to the president's list.
Deso graduated from NCCS with high honors.
Mariela Barreto of Plattsburgh earned a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in interdisciplinary studies at Midwestern State University.
Rori Tetreault attended the RPI/Troy HOBY Site of the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar with more than 200 other young leaders representing many high schools from throughout eastern New York.
Tetreault represented Northeastern Clinton Central High School. She is the daughter of Andre and Laura Tetreault.
