Horseshoe League begins May 14
MORRISONVILLE — The American Legion 1619 Horseshoe League will begin its season Wednesday, May 14 at 6 p.m. at the West Plattsburgh post. Players will draw partners opening night.

Adirondack Disc Golf hosting Adirondack Open II May 3
PLATTSBURGH — The Adirondack Disc Golf Association is hosting the Adirondack Open II May 3 at the Cadyville Disc Golf Course.
This disc golf tournament is open to players of all abilities, with men’s and women’s divisions breaking up juniors, recreational, intermediate, advanced and pro. There will be two rounds of 18 holes beginning at 9 a.m.
Airborne Speedway races into Champlain Centre
PLATTSBURGH — Airborne Park Speedway cars will be on display April 19 throughout the Champlain Centre Mall from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each car, along with its driver, will be placed in nine different locations throughout the Centre. Those in attendance will get a chance to get up close and personal with the cars and drivers that race past the checkered flag at Airborne Park Speedway.
Airborne will also be featuring their go-karts, which provides race fans the opportunity to experience the thrills of racing. “We are really excited to have our stock cars and go-karts on display for this fan appreciation day. Airborne Park Speedway has so much more to offer than just stock car racing. We have a full fun kart facility and competition go-kart racing every Tuesday evening at 6:30,” said Niki Wood, Family Area Manager at Airborne Speedway.
Airborne will have an information tent set up in front of Gander Mountain. They will be giving away some go-kart passes as well as information about the upcoming season. All those who attend the event can enter to win a season pass. Shoppers can sign up for a chance to win at the information tent in front of Gander Mountain. This is a free event and all are invited to attend.
