Michele Rykers Van Eerdewegh

PHOENIX. ARIZ. — Michele Rykers Van Eerdewegh, MD, 67, born in Bruxelles on Aug. 2, 1945 died peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2013 in Phoenix, Ariz. Michele was a practicing psychiatrist for over 25 years. During her career, she helped counsel thousands of patients and contributed to research in her field. She is survived by daughters, Caroline Kwong and Muriel Kerr; son, Lionel. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Colin, Nicholas, Peter, Ella and Ariel. A remembrance celebration was held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at the Kwong's residence in Phoenix, Ariz.
