MORRISONVILLE — Nancy Ratliff, 58, of Mason Street, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Massena on Oct. 18, 1954, the daughter of Clifford and Marjorie (Trumble) Weegar.
Nancy was a member of St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. She graduated from Holy Family High School in Massena in 1972 and received her Bachelor's Degree from Plattsburgh State in 1976.
Nancy married Jeffrey Ratliff in 1980 at St. Mary's Church in Massena.
She worked as Assistant Secretary and Treasurer for Standard Engineering in Albany for four years, then Clinton Correctional Facility, retiring as the Inmate Grievance Supervisor after twenty years in 2011.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her children and at Plattsburgh State Hockey games. She participated in the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life".
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey of Morrisonville; two sons, Shane Ratliff and his wife Jennifer of Plattsburgh and Joseph Ratliff of Dallas, Texas; one brother, James Weegar of Rutherfordton, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013, at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street. Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
