PERU — The Plattsburgh High girls’ basketball team capitalized on Peru’s early foul trouble and a 12-point performance from Marle Curle in a 34-24 Champlain Valley Athletic Conference win Friday.

The Hornets were able to overcome a one-point halftime deficit and outscored the Indians by a 22-11 margin in the second half.

Meghan Mazzella paced the Indians with nine points, while older sister Mary chipped in with seven.
