HELEN J. COLVER, 86, of Prospect Avenue in Plattsburgh, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at her home under the care of Hospice of the North Country and surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Perley and Margaret (Rice) Jabot. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at St. John's Church. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
