More than 60 raffle baskets will also be available. Tickets cost $1 each, or three for $2 and seven for $5.

Guests should stop at the Recycle House, where they can take the candy and leave the eggs for the Ekrub Players’ 2014 Egg Hunt.

CVPH Easter Egg Hunt March 30

PLATTSBURGH — CVPH’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is at 10 a.m. sharp on Saturday, March 30, on the hospital’s front lawn.

The free event is open to children in second grade and younger. A separate hunting ground will be available for hunters 3 years old and younger.

Since January, volunteers have stuffed 10,000 plastic eggs with chocolate.

Parking for the event, which is sponsored by the Foundation of CVPH/Auxiliary, is in the Medical Office Building lot near the Cornelia Street entrance.

Hunters should be dressed in weather- and lawn-appropriate gear and have their own basket. The Easter bunny will be available for photos and hugs before and after the event. For more information, call 562-7169.

Bunny Cares coming to mall Sunday

PLATTSBURGH — The Bunny Cares program for children with special needs and their families will be in front of JCPenney at Champlain Centre mall from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday.

The event is held before regular mall hours so that accommodations can be made to support the sensory, physical and developmental needs of all guests.

Bunny Cares is a joint program developed by the Noerr Programs, the digital imaging company that provides the Bunny Photo Experience for venues across the nation, and AbilityPath.org, a national online-resource hub and special-needs community.
