Paul W. Longe Jr.

PLATTSBURGH — Paul W. Longe Jr., 38, of Ball Street, Plattsburgh, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009. He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Feb. 20, 1971, the son of Paul W. and Shirley (Collins) Longe Sr.

Paul was a mechanic for Della Toyota, formerly Garrand's Toyota in Plattsburgh. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed fishing, snowboarding and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Lois and Otis Collins, Joseph J. Longe; and an uncle, Otis Collins Jr.

Paul is survived by his wife, Lisa (Bailey) Longe of Morrisonville, N.Y.; his parents, Paul and Shirley (Collins) Longe Sr. of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; two children, Paul W. Longe III and Emily R. Longe; two sisters, Laurie A. Schwartz and her companion, Lou Politewitz of New Jersey, and Christina Savage and her husband, Scott of Keeseville, N.Y.; and a brother, Robert Longe of Cadyville, N.Y.; his grandmother, Betty Longe of Plattsburgh, N.Y., an aunt, Cheryl Collins of Plattsburgh; and uncle, Michael Collins of West Chazy. Several nephews and cousins also survive him.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh; a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
