---- — PERU — Vivian M. (Vicki) Bushey, 53, of Peru passed away August 28, 2013, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y., after a long courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side. Vivian was born on Dec. 22, 1959, the daughter of Clifford and Vivian (LaFountain) Reyell.

She loved spending time with her beloved cat Boo Boo and with plants, all of her family and friends.

Whether at work or home she had a knack for making friends with anyone she met. Vicki was a strong willed woman who always held her head high no matter what life dealt her. Also she loved camping and fishing whenever she could with her family while enjoying a cold beer and conversation. Vicki will always be remembered as a high spirited woman with a huge heart.

Vicki is survived by her husband Mark J. Bushey of 35 years; her son, Mark A. Bushey; a daughter, Monica and companion Tony Dubrey; two granddaughters, Shelby and Haley and one grandson, Levi; Vicki's brothers, Clifford and wife Linda Reyell, Edgar Reyell, Joe Reyell, Barnet and wife Sally Reyell and Kelly Reyell; her sisters, Bertha Reyell, Evelyn Reyell and companion Todd Smith, Lucy and her husband Kevin Preston, Tammy and her husband Mark Rook, Trudy Silver and Pamela Reyell; many nieces and nephews.

Vicki is predeceased by her first born daughter, Samantha Lynn; her parents, Clifford and Vivian Reyell; a brother, George; and in-laws, John and Julia Bushey.

Calling hours will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Thwaits Zaumetzer Funeral Home in Au Sable Forks. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m..
