---- — SARANAC — Mildred V. Campbell, 98, formerly of Bucks Corners Rd., died Tuesday morning, May 22, 2013, at Evergreen Valley Nursing Facility. Mrs. Campbell was born in Saranac on April 12, 1915, the daughter of Ross and Maude (Parsons) Cromie.

She married William C. Campbell in Melrose, N.Y., in 1942. Mr. Campbell died in 1990.

She was formerly a member of Saranac United Methodist Church, Saranac Senior Citizens and Clinton County RSVP.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Campbell of Saranac and David Campbell and his wife Karen of Fort Ann, N.Y.; three granddaughters, Julie, Joelle and Kristen; one grandson, Jonathan; two great-grandsons, Luke and Ty and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William and Ross Cromie; one sister, Loretta Palmer.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Saranac Independence Cemetery.
