---- — PAISLEY, Fla. — Helen A. Haylett, formerly of Point au Roche, died peacefully on Monday, May 6.

For over 40 years, she and her husband George owned and operated Haylett Marine.

Helen was a lifelong member of the Plattsburgh United Methodist Church, and active always in the Women's Groups and choir, there as well as in the Paisley church in Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Chesar of Deland, Fla.; grandchildren, Clarke LaPlante and Robin, of Randolph, Mass., Amber Chesar Tuttle and Andrew of Windsor Locks, Conn., John Chesar and Tosha of Wichita Falls, Texas; and their children; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Fesette of Plattsburgh, Patricia Cross of Saratoga Springs, Beverly Cross of Plattsburgh; and several beloved neices and nephews; and life long friends.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband George; her parents; six brothers; and her son in law. They will be celebrating her 90th birthday and 70th wedding anniversary together this year in June.

A memorial service will be held at the Paisley United Methodist Church on May 15. Graveside services will be held at the Point au Roche Cemetery at the family's convenience.
