---- — PLATTSBURGH — Mr. Michael E. "Mike" O'Malley, 64, of Honey Drive in Plattsburgh, died Thursday, May 2, 2013. at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by his side.
He was born in Potsdam on Dec. 14, 1948, the son of the late Leila Anson.
Michael was employed at Georgia Pacific for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed taking rides in his convertible with his wife Anna and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anna (Carter) O'Malley; two daughters and sons-in-law; Teri Lee and Bryan James LaMora of Plattsburgh, Erin Michelle and Jason Fagel of Juneau, Alaska; his grandchildren, Brennen LaMora, Macey LaMora; two nephews, Christopher Garrow and Shawn Garrow; and two great nieces, Ella and Maggie Garrow.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Seymour, Pastor of St. Alexander's Church officiating.
