KISSIMMEE, FLA. — Mary A. Bainbridge, 73, of Ruston Lane, Kissimmee, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born June 2, 1940, in Lake Clear, the daughter of Clifford and Dorothy (Donaldson) Wood. She grew up in Riverview and graduated from Sallaz Academy in Redford.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She enjoyed camping, NASCAR, gardening, but especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Bainbridge of Kissimmee; children, Tammy Facteau and husband Michael of Riverview, Tanya Seymour and husband Kenny of Kissimmee, and Thomas Bainbridge of Kissimmee; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Megan Facteau, Adam, Matthew, and Dorothy Seymour, Thomas and John Bainbridge; one great-grandson, Joseph Collins; siblings, Hubert Wood of Riverview, Robert Wood and wife Renalda of Riverview, Allen Wood and wife Sharon of Riverview, Jean Smart and husband Roger of Riverview, and Linda Dashnaw of Riverview; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Dorothy Wood, Warren Wood and wife Gen, and Irene McKay and husband James; and son-in-law, James Dashnaw.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday, Feb. 1, at Church of the Assumption in Redford.
