---- — PLATTSBURGH — Mary E. Galpin, 64, of Beekman Towers in Plattsburgh, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by her side.

She was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 30, 1948, the daughter of the late Paul and Beulah (Brickey) Gagnon.

Mary graduated from Saranac Central School and was employed for over 25 years at Grand Union in Plattsburgh as a Deli Manager and was a member of the American Legion Post 1619 Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed life to the fullest and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Galpin-Delisle and Thomas Delisle of Cadyville, Monica and Michael Quirk of Manchester, N.H.; her brother Donald Gagnon and his wife Linda of Cadyville, her brother Steven Gagnon and Sue Carson of Keeseville; two grandchildren, Chase Delisle and Mollie Quirk; and her nieces and nephews; Jessica, Danny, David, Heidi and Travis.

Mary was predeceased by her parents and her twin brother, Mark E. Gagnon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, in the Brown Funeral Home chapel. A reception will follow the service at American Legion Post 1619 in West Plattsburgh.

Burial will be held privately at St. Alexander's cemetery in Morrisonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 179, P.O.
