KEESEVILLE — Dorina M. Kusalonis, 90, formerly of Hollywood Avenue, Keeseville, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Keeseville, June 17, 1923, the daughter of William and Eva (Rivet) Latourelle.
Dorina grew up and attended school in Keeseville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved time with her family, and found much guidance and comfort in her deep faith. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy Kusalonis and his wife Noni of Saratoga, Joe Kusalonis of Keeseville, and Christine Blaise of Plattsburgh; grandchildren, Crystal Megs, Melissa Kusalonis, Penny Bonneau, Aaron Kusalonis, Lewis J. Kusalonis, Little Jimmy Kusalonis, and Eric Rock; and great-grandchildren, Renee Bonneau, Jacob Bonneau, and Kara Marie Kusalonis.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Lewis J. Kusalonis; and sons, Gary Kusalonis and Tony Kusalonis.
Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. Burial will follow at Port Douglas Cemetery in Keeseville. Donations in her memory may be made to the Meadowbrook Healthcare Activities Fund.
