---- — MINEVILLE — Josephine M. (Fernandez) Brace died on April 23, 2013, at her home following a long illness. She was born April 1, 1929, in Witherbee, N.Y., the daughter of Antonio and Mary (Conklina) Fernandez.

Josie married Arthur W. Brace on Feb. 4, 1950.

Josie is survived by her children, Arthur Brace of Clifton Park, Pamela Brace and her partner Peter Wojewodzic of Cambridge, Valerie L. Brace of Lighthouse Point, Fla., Kevin Brace and his wife Valerie of Moriah; grandchildren, Adam and Alexander Brace of Albany, Melissa Wojewodzic of Clifton Park, Megan Brace of Moriah, Jacob Brace of Brooklyn, Lindsay and Lauren Brace of Moriah; great-grandchildren, Pacey Brace and Alijah Brace; and several nieces and nephews.

Josie was predeceased by her husband; sisters, Delores, Evelyn, Angie and Theresa; and brothers, Manuel, Joe, Andy, John, James, Anthony and Louis.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 26, at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at St. Patrick's Church, Port Henry. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
