---- — PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZ. — June Elizabeth LaFerriere died peacefully on Sept. 5, 2013, in Prescott Valley, Ariz., where she resided since 2005, surrounded by family.

June was born on June 26, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Elizabeth and Raymond Pease and was raised in Bridgeport, Conn.

June was a loving mother, a gregarious person who loved and was loved by many, a volunteer in the community, and a resident of the Margaret T. Morris Center. She was a devout Catholic and active church member with a beautiful voice which she loved to share. After retiring as a career draftswoman in the automotive industry in Detroit, Mich., June and her husband enjoyed many adventures traveling throughout North America in their recreational vehicle.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years John; their son Kim Brian; and sisters, Ruth Compagna, Nancy Renner, and Jacqueline Crayton. She is survived by her sister Ramona Jacobs of Zypher Hills, Fla.; sons, Keith Alan of Springfield, Mo. and Kris Daryl of Griffin, Ga.; daughters, Karen Hinton of Prescott Valley, Ariz, and Kaye Curry of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial mass with reception to follow at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
