---- — MORRISONVILLE — Mr. John J. St. Denis, 68, of Morrisonville, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, on July 17, 1945, the son of the late Hector and Carrie (Corrow) St. Denis. John worked as a mechanic for V.S. Jerry's and Newton Welding Supply in Plattsburgh. He had a love for music, fishing, garage sales and was most known for his contagious laugh. His greatest passion was his grandchildren and being active in their lives.
He is survived by his wife Deborah; his sons and their spouses, Rodney and his wife Rhonda of Rouses Point, Doug and his companion Rachell Monty of Plattsburgh; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Rena and her husband John Keymel of Keeseville; several nieces and nephews and several brothers and sisters in-law. He was predeceased by a brother, Sonny St. Denis; and a sister, Linda Black. Johns family would like to thank all the staff at CVPH Medical center for the kind care they have given over the years.
Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at St. Alexanders Church in Morrisonville. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
Memorial donations may be offered to St. Alexander's Church in memory of John.
