Jimmy (Beaver) Dupuis

STILLWATER — Jimmy (Beaver) Dupuis, 47, died August 28, 2013, at his home under the care of Hospice.

Born in Sharon, Conn., he grew up in Ellenburg, N.Y., and graduated from Northern Adirondack High School. He then moved to the Albany area and started his career in the dry wall business with his uncle Joe. Beaver formed his own drywall business, becoming a well known contractor in the area for many years. He was also in the rental and bar room business.

Beaver was also well known for his big heart. Over the years he helped his employees and many friends with their struggles. He made everyones life a little better. The good times having a cold beer after work in his garage will not soon be forgotten.

He is survived by his companion, Rhonda French, and her son Tyler, who meant the world to him and made him a family.

His upstate survivors include his father, Richard (Kathy) Dupuis of Ellenburg; his mother, Carol Bedard of Plattsburgh; his two brothers, Mike (Amy) of Ellenburg, Dave of West Chazy; his sisters, Hope (Colin) Wall of Ellenburg, Michelle (Shawn) Pelkey of Cadyville; his niece and nephews, Jacob and Aliyah Pelkey and Dakota Wall; his Godparents, Rose and Paul Kloiber and many more aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors also include his neighbor, Uncle Joe; aunt Vicki, their children, Courtney, Charlie and their families whom they shared the holidays, good times and bad.

At Jimmy's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A private memorial service will be at a later time at the convenience of the family.

A celebration of his life will be held at his home in Stillwater at a later date.
