---- — HAGUE — Emma Elizabeth (Joergens) DeFranco, 94, of Hague, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the Westmount Health Facility of Queensbury.
Born in Sten Island, N.Y., March 10, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Mary (Colton) Joergens.
Emma lived in Smithtown, N.Y. for many years, before moving to Hague in 1976. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony J. DeFranco on Oct. 27, 2011. She was also pre-deceased by her daughter, Judy Cusumano.
Survivors include one son, David A. DeFranco and his wife, JoAnne of Hague; three daughters, Theresa Awgul and her husband Greg of Philadelphia, Pa., Mary Towers and her husband Tim of Queensbury, and Kathy DeFranco of Queensbury. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30th at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga. The Rev. Kevin D. McEwan, Pastor, will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow at the family plot of the Valley View Cemetery of Ticonderoga.

Mrs. DeFranco's family would like to thank all the staff at Westmount, especially Barbara, for the excellent care given to their Mom over the past four years.
