---- — BEEKMANTOWN — Mrs. Susan A. Thouin, 55, of Colby Road in Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by her side.

She was born in Ogdensburg, N.Y. on June 21, 1958, the daughter of the late Delbert and Lois (Compo) Henderson.

Susan graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and was an amateur HAM radio operator with the call sign KB2YM2. She also enjoyed shooting, fishing, lawn sales, sewing, crocheting, cooking and watching old time television from the 1950's and 60's.

She is survived by her husband William of Beekmantown; her children, Chastity Henderson, Linda and her husband Cornal Brinson, Evelyn M. Thouin, William J. "Will" Thouin, all of Beekmantown; her grandchildren, Corlisa and Cornal "Ki" Brinson; a great-granddaughter, Sophie Grace; several stepbrothers and stepsisters from the Kelso, Henderson and Remi families; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents; her grandmother whom she was raised by, Violet Delorme Compo; a brother, Michael J. Remi; and an aunt, Margaret Compo, predeceased her.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
