CANTON — Frank A. Greenwood, 81, of Canton, formerly of the Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Maplewood Housing.
He was born on April 25, 1933, the son of Daniel and Clara (Harps) Greenwood.
Frank married Chellis Baker in the Church of the Nazerene in Lake Placid on June 26, 1976. She passed away in 2008. Frank worked security at Imperial for many years, after retiring he worked for several area businesses doing lawns and snow removal. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time and being with his dog, Harley.
Survivors include his sons, Francis Greenwood of Constable, N.Y. and Wesley Greenwood of Westville, N.Y.; a brother, Warren Greenwood of Castorland, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Mike, Mark, Megan and Dustin Greenwood.
Calling Hours will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid.
